Pohnpei Surf Club is proudly based at Mangrove Bay Hotel, Bar, Restaurant & Marina, conveniently located just 10 minutes from Pohnpei International Airport. While we operate from Mangrove Bay, we are an independent business working in close partnership with the hotel to provide our guests with a seamless travel experience. Staying at Mangrove Bay means you’ll be just steps from our boats, making early morning departures and full-day adventures as convenient as possible.
Mangrove Bay offers lagoon-front rooms overlooking the marina, a full-service bar, a popular waterfront restaurant, and Wi-Fi throughout the property. Its central location also places you within easy reach of Kolonia’s restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, and local attractions, making it an excellent base for exploring the island.
To make your arrival as smooth as possible, we’re happy to coordinate directly with Mangrove Bay on your behalf. Guests staying at the hotel can enjoy complimentary airport transfers and tour transfers, allowing you to arrive, settle into your room, and focus on enjoying your time in Pohnpei. You’re welcome to stay at any hotel or guesthouse on Pohnpei. Whether you prefer a resort, a business hotel, or a locally owned guesthouse, we’re happy to pick you up and drop you off for your scheduled tours.
To make your visit as easy as possible, complimentary airport and hotel transfers are available for all guests joining our tours. We can meet you at Pohnpei International Airport upon arrival and take you directly to your accommodation, or pick you up from your hotel before your adventure and return you afterward. Our goal is to make exploring Pohnpei as convenient as possible, regardless of where you choose to stay.
